I just became U.S. citizen this month. And I would like to apply green cards for my parents. My parents are currently in U.S. and their visas have expired for 5years. I was told that my parents' marriage certificate is not necessary since their names are on my 出生证. So, in my father's application, should I write a letter to explain the situation that we are unable to get the marriage certificate? Can you please give me any suggestions?
